Gaidaa is a Sudanese-Dutch singer, songwriter, and artist known for her warm, soul-infused sound and emotionally rich storytelling. Her music weaves together R&B, neo-soul, and jazz influences, creating an intimate space for reflection, vulnerability, and growth. With a voice that carries
both strength and softness, Gaidaa’s work is deeply personal, rooted in lived experience and a constant search for self-understanding.
Her latest project, “Yarn”, is a reflective and emotionally layered exploration of identity, healing, and transformation. Built over five years of introspection and growth, “Yarn” unfolds like a tapestry, each song a thread that captures a different moment in her evolution. The project navigates the
complexities of self-doubt, emotional exhaustion, and the slow, nonlinear process of healing. It’s about unravelling old patterns, confronting inner truths, and learning to reweave oneself with intention and care.
