Daykoda is the project of Milan-based producer and musician Andrea Gamba, exploring the intersection of electronic music, contemporary jazz and progressive hip-hop. Inspired by the ethos of labels such as Brainfeeder and Ninja Tune, his sound blends immersive production with improvisation, creating a distinctive voice between beat culture and modern jazz.
Across three acclaimed albums, All Of Me (2019), PHYSIS (2021) and UNO (2023), Daykoda has collaborated with artists from the jazz, electronic and orchestral worlds. His quartet has performed at festivals including Torino Jazz Festival, Jazz Is Dead, Jazz in the Park (Cluj), Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival and VIVA! Festival, while recent highlights include the Montreux Jazz Artists Foundation residency and Time in Jazz Festival.
His fourth studio album, Blue Devil, is released in November 2026 via Beat Machine Records. Featuring collaborations with Theon Cross, Daedelus, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and Ze in the Clouds, it marks Daykoda’s most ambitious and internationally connected work to date. Supported by tastemakers including Mary Anne Hobbs, Tom Ravenscroft, Lefto, Laurent Garnier and Nubya Garcia, Daykoda is emerging as one of Europe’s most exciting cross-genre artists.
